In essence, developing Web 2.0 applications with a semantic "twist" for knowledge management could be solved with usual OO methodologies.  But, introducing graph-based development, akin to what the Semantic Web expects, is a powerful paradigm for knowledge representation.  This can be a confusing transition (going to graph development from OO) and it isn't always clear that a full transition is the best strategy.  Using a combination of both is a good compromise but when is it best to do this?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We've written a fairly comprehensive article for a major software journal that we are hoping will be published shortly talking about these very items.  In the meantime, we will post here and keep the corresponding code up-to-date.
